Product description
The 45ft Diesel Knuckle Boom is the mid-range workhorse of the diesel articulated range, with up to 14.21 metres of platform height and 7.4 to 7.65 metres of up-and-over clearance. 4WD rough terrain drive handles wet ground, slopes and prepared construction sites, and an on-board generator delivers 240V to the basket for power tools. Used across commercial construction, plant maintenance, steel erection and infrastructure work, anywhere a 34ft can't reach and a 60ft is overkill.
United Rentals supplies these machines maintained to Australian Standards, with delivery to your site. Also known as an articulated boom lift, it bends at multiple points to reach up and over obstacles. Make, model and specifications may vary. The 45ft Diesel Knuckle Boom carries enough capacity for two operators plus tools on most stocked models, with a working envelope that reaches over edge protection, around plant and into the cladding zone of two- and three-storey structures. 4WD with rough-terrain tyres handles the construction site as-found, no need for a prepared pad, and the on-board generator gives the operator power tools at height without trailing a lead from the ground.
