The hands are among a worker's most valuable tools, used for everything from threading delicate electrical wires to cutting through a thick steel pipe. Yet, despite how often the hands are used, hand safety and injury prevention can often be overlooked by both employers and employees.

The good news is that with the right tools, resources and education, many workplace hand injuries can be prevented. In this training module, we’re going to talk about hand safety. We’ll discuss all the key issues associated with hand safely, including hand injuries, the hazards associated with working with your hands, and ways you can prevent hand injuries while on the job.

The main objective of this session is to make sure you work safely with your hands on the job. By the time the session is over, you should be able to:
